TULSA, Okla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Midstates Petroleum Company, Inc. (NYSE:MPO) (“Midstates” or the “Company”) announced today that Mark E. Eck, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, will resign from his position effective January 4, 2016 to pursue other opportunities. Subsequent to Mr. Eck’s departure, his duties and responsibilities will be assumed by other members of the Company’s management team.
