OKLAHOMA CITY–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Enable Midstream Partners, LP (NYSE:ENBL) announced today a new 228,000 dekatherm per day (Dth/d) firm transportation service agreement with Oklahoma Gas and Electric (OG&E) on the Enable Oklahoma Intrastate Transmission, LLC (EOIT) system. The 20-year contract, expected to commence in late 2018, will support OG&E’s planned conversion of two 500 megawatt coal-fired generating units to natural gas. To support this new agreement, Enable will build 77 miles of 20-inch pipeline and associated metering facilities. Enable’s 2,200-mile EOIT pipeline has a long history of serving the power generation industry and is connected to 14 other natural gas-fired generation facilities in Oklahoma.

In addition, Enable announced that it has extended two service agreements with other large power generating customers. Enable extended an agreement on Enable Gas Transmission, LLC for approximately 126,000 Dth/d of enhanced firm service for 4 additional years and extended another agreement on EOIT for approximately 305,000 Dth/d of firm service for an additional year.
