Western Canada’s fleet of drilling rigs increased by 108 rigs to a total of 184 according to data collected by Baker Hughes for the week of January 11th.
From last Friday, Alberta rig counts went from 61 to 122. Saskatchewan’s rig count went from 2 to 40.
Oil drilling went from 20 to 103; natural gas rigs increased from 56 to 81.
