Crocotta Energy Announces Private Placement of Up to $20 Million of Flow-Through Shares

CALGARY, ALBERTA–(Marketwired – May 31, 2013) –

CROCOTTA ENERGY INC. (TSX:CTA(“Crocotta” or the “Company“) is pleased to announce a non-brokered private placement of up to 3,650,000 common shares in the capital of the Company (“Common Shares“) to be issued on a “flow-through” basis pursuant to the Income Tax Act (Canada) in respect of Canadian exploration expenses (“CEE“) at a price of $3.70 per share and 1,860,000 Common Shares to be issued on a “flow-through” basis pursuant to the Income Tax Act (Canada) in respect of Canadian development expenses (“CDE“) at a price of $3.50 per share, for aggregate gross proceeds of $20,015,000 (the “Private Placement“).

The gross proceeds from the Private Placement will be used by Crocotta to incur eligible CEE and CDE. The completion of the Private Placement is subject to Crocotta receiving all necessary regulatory approvals, including approval from the Toronto Stock Exchange.
