CALGARY, ALBERTA–(Marketwired – Aug. 28, 2013) – Northern Spirit Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:NS) (“Northern Spirit“) is pleased to announce that Mr. Paul Cheung has joined Northern Spirit’s board of directors. Mr. Cheung has been an independent businessman since January 2001. He has founded multiple drilling and oilfield services companies since 1997, including Alliance Drilling and Oilfield Services Ltd., Partner Drilling Ltd., Advance Drilling Ltd. and Independent Well Servicing Ltd. Additionally, Mr. Cheung has been involved with Grand Bow Petroleum Ltd. and Alliance Energy Ltd., both private oil and gas exploration companies.
