After reading articles like this one, one may begin to realize (if not already), that Alberta under the newly elected NDP leadership, is going in the wrong direction.

In response to the growing dissonance, the first major anti-NDP rally is slated for Sunday in Edmonton at 2:00PM on the grounds of the Alberta legislature. Stand-Up-For-Alberta, as it’s called, will highlight three important themes throughout the day: industry, small business, and the economy.

The rally is both approved and authorized and will be the first such event in the wake of the Alberta NDP’s Spring election victory.

The organizers wish to “ask that Premier Notley and the entire Alberta NDP government stand up for industry, small business, and the economy.” Furthermore, the goal for the rally will be to, according to the rally’s website, “have Premier Notley opt for partnership not politics during what the ATB has confirmed as a recession, halt any planned changes to minimum wage legislation, and release a completed budget within 30 days of the rally.”

More info is available at Stand-Up-For-Alberta’s website.
