DALLAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Oilfield Water Logistics (OWL), a Natural Gas Partners (NGP) portfolio company providing water gathering, treatment and disposal infrastructure and services to the energy industry, has expanded its pipeline network through the acquisition of the Azure West Texas Gathering System in the Permian Basin and Interline Pipeline System in the Powder River Basin.

The Azure transaction adds over 700 miles of existing pipeline and right-of-way for water gathering, new supply routes, and other midstream services in Reeves, Winkler, Ward, Upton and Crane counties in west Texas, and Lea and Eddy counties in southeast New Mexico. The acquisition of Interline provides over 100 miles of similar water and gas gathering capability in Converse County, adjacent to OWL’s new 9 million-barrel Thunder Basin facility.

“The Azure and Interline transactions help accelerate our development of extensive midstream water networks in the country’s most active basins,” said OWL CEO Chris Cooper. “As with oil and gas gathering, a long term perspective of water transmission via pipeline creates efficiency and stability, and reduces costs for our customers and communities.”
