Pat Weaver and Kristin Robertson to Speak at Women’s Energy Network – North Texas Chapter November 2015 Luncheon Meetings in Fort Worth and Dallas

DALLAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Pat Long-Weaver, a founding partner of Long-Weaver, Manning, Antus & Antus, LLP, will be the guest speaker at the luncheon meeting of the Women’s Energy Network (WEN) – North Texas Chapter on Thursday, November 12, 2015, at the Fort Worth Petroleum Club, 777 Main Street #4000. Kristin Robertson, President of Brio Leadership, will be the guest speaker at the luncheon meeting of WEN – North Texas on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at the Dallas Petroleum Club, 2200 Ross Avenue. Registration for both events will begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by the luncheon from noon-1:00 p.m.

Ms. Long-Weaver will present a talk titled, “May the Force be With You: Top Five Things You Need to Know About the Permian Basin,” at the November Fort Worth luncheon. A question-and-answer session will follow her presentation.

A veteran trial lawyer, Ms. Long-Weaver has been Board Certified in Civil Trial Law since 1995 by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Her experience includes representation of oil and gas stakeholders, from individuals to start-up independents to Fortune 500 companies. With an emphasis on oil and gas litigation, condemnations, environmental issues, and complex business litigation, as well as major incident personal injury defense, she performs both as first chair and as a team manager, taking cases through trial and appeal. She also serves as a mediator.

Ms. Long-Weaver is a volunteer in the State Bar of Texas and is immediate past chair of the Litigation Section Council. She also serves on the Oil and Gas Pattern Jury Charge Committee. Ms. Long-Weaver is a long time director of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel, as well as a long time member and Vice President of Publications for the Civil Justice Response Committee of the International Association of Defense Counsel.
