The Fortress Environmental Services Difference
There is a big difference between how Fortress cleans and processes its water-based and oil-based mud, flowback and completion fluids and another practice called “landfarming,” which mixes tainted earth, cuttings and fluids with dirt and then spreads it over a large portion of the oil lease’s property. The biggest problem with this technique is that when it rains these landfarms are susceptible to rainwater runoff and is the primary reason for why the fracking industry needs to clean up its reputation.

Fortress Environmental Services oilfield disposal supercenters provide the best way for the fracking industry to begin doing more to protect the environment and offer a great way to provide both humans and wildlife with the safest and most environmentally-friendly solution available. Even if it costs a little bit more, oil and gas companies need to begin doing the right thing and taking advantage of Fortress’ environmentally friendly processes in order to make the best effort possible to protect all of sources of fresh water.
