Unique fashion event hosted by Toronto fashion icon Jeanne Beker
TORONTO, May 2, 2017 /CNW/ – The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is celebrating its 13th annual client fashion show on Thursday, May 4, 2017.
Every year, client models strut the runway to show off their favourite outfits for a wildly enthusiastic audience, and this year promises to take things up a notch. The show is run by CAMH's Suits Me Fine Boutique, which has been providing clothing and toiletries to clients for nearly 20 years.
New clothes and positive social interactions build confidence and self-esteem in clients and assist them in their recovery process, including helping to prepare for employment. The Suits Me Fine fashion show is a welcoming place for clients to socialize and celebrate.
This year Canadian fashion icon Jeanne Beker will host the event.
WHEN: Thursday, May 4, 2017; 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
WHERE: Sandi and Jim Treliving Gymnasium, Bell Gateway Building (100 Stokes St.) at CAMH's Queen Street West location.
