Northern Blizzard Resources Inc. Announces Voting Results of Annual and Special Meeting, Appoints New Chairman and Chief Operating Officer

CALGARY, June 23, 2017 /CNW/ – Northern Blizzard Resources Inc. (“Northern Blizzard” or the “Company’) (TSX: NBZ) announces the voting results of the Annual and Special Meeting and the appointments of Chairman and Chief Operating Officer.

Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders

All resolutions were approved at Northern Blizzard’s Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders held on June 22, 2017. The four nominees proposed as directors and listed in the Company’s Information Circular dated May 19, 2017, were elected as directors. The voting results are as follows:

The common shares issuable pursuant to unallocated awards under Northern Blizzard’s compensation award incentive plan was approved, with 98.58% of the common shares represented at the meeting voting in favour of the resolution.

Chairman of the Board and Chief Operating Officer Appointments

Northern Blizzard is also pleased to announce changes to the board and executive team.

Adam Waterous was appointed as the Company’s Chairman of the board. Mr. Waterous is the Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Waterous Energy Fund. Through its affiliates, Waterous Energy Fund owns approximately 67% of Northern Blizzard’s outstanding common shares.

Robert Will was promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Will joined the Company in June 2011. During his tenure, Mr. Will held the positions of Vice President, Business Development, Vice President, EOR & Reserves and most recently Vice President, Operations. He received a Bachelor’s in Geological Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, a Master’s in Chemical Engineering (Petroleum) from the University of Calgary and is a Professional Engineer.
