Canada Weekly Rig Count Continues Spring Breakup Decline Down 9 to 93

Western Canada’s fleet of drilling rigs went down 9, amidst spring breakup, to a current count of 93 according to data collected by Baker Hughes for the week of April 20th.

From one week ago, Alberta rig counts decreased from 85 to 76, Saskatchewan’s rig count remained at 3.

Oil drilling went from 48 to 41; gas rigs went from 41 to 38.
