Canada Weekly Rig Count Continues Spring Breakup Decline Down 8 to 85

Western Canada’s fleet of drilling rigs went down 8, amidst spring breakup, to a current count of 85 according to data collected by Baker Hughes for the week of April 27th.

From one week ago, Alberta rig counts decreased from 76 to 67, Saskatchewan’s rig count remained at 3.

Oil drilling went from 38 to 33; gas rigs went from 55 to 52.
