(the “Corporation”) announces that effective October 5, 2018, Gilbert (Gil) Hegel and Nicholas (Nick) Elliott were appointed as directors of the Corporation to fill the vacancies created by earlier resignations of directors. Richard Edgar was also appointed to the positions of Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of the Corporation.
Mr. Hegel is a Professional Engineer with 45 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry in North America. He retired from the energy industry in 2015 and currently ranches west of Olds, Alberta.
Since 2006, Mr. Elliott has been director of Hillside Estate Winery. Previously he was Sr. Vice-President and Director of Spartan Controls Ltd., President, CEO and Director of REM Technology Inc., President, CEO and Director of Spartech Manufacturing Ltd., Co-Founder and Managing Director of The Sterling Valve Division of Spartan Controls, Director and Chairman of Caliber Planning Inc., and President and Director of Q. Group Energy Inc. Mr. Elliott served as the Canadian representative on the Hydrocarbon Committee of Fisher Controls International and on The Crosby Valve Company’s President’s Council. Mr. Elliott is a life member of APEGGA and The Instrument Society of America.
