Canada’s fleet of active drilling rigs shrank from 175 to 98 since last week according to data from Baker Hughes.
Total drilling count was 98 at March 20th. 52 rigs were drilling for oil; 46 for natural gas.
The drilling activity in Alberta fell from 127 to 73 since last week. Saskatchewan’s drilling dropped from 29 to 12 rigs.
