There is so much quality content being provided on X these days, and going forward, we want to provide our readers with a quick glimpse of some of it. This article series, “By Our Readers, For Our Readers” will shine a light on some of those X posts. Sometimes it might be incredibly knowledgeable insight, perhaps an interesting chart, or sometimes maybe just a funny GIF or meme, this new feature should hopefully provide lots of additional information on oil gas for our readers that don’t necessarily use X, and maybe some entertainment as well.

Despite many naysayers and lots of talk about soft oil demand, the world continues to use more and more of it:

We continue to look forward to LNG Canada’s official startup, which will make Canada an LNG exporter for the first time. Meanwhile, the US is supplying the much needed fuel to the rest of the world at a record pace:

While the Permian is the darling of Texas, the state is also crushing it when it comes to renewable power generation. It’s a good reminder that energy generation doesn’t have to be political, it doesn’t have to be fossil fuels vs. non-fossil fuels. Demand is ever growing for energy of all forms. Let’s be supportive of responsible energy development in all forms where it makes sense.

A bit more on the lighter side to end the week, but say it ain’t so! A neat look at what a breakfast sandwich plus a coffee costs over time based on the raw inputs. Breakfast just got more expensive!
