The Alberta Energy Regulator has released its latest Alberta Energy Outlook (ST98), providing a comprehensive source of data on the province’s oil, natural gas and broader energy sector.
Published annually, ST98 includes the AER’s latest information on Alberta’s hydrocarbon reserves along with supply and demand outlooks for crude bitumen, conventional crude oil, natural gas, natural gas liquids and coal, as well as emerging energy resources.
This year’s report includes a full update to Alberta’s reserves data, incorporating the main findings of an external assessment completed by McDaniel & Associates.
Beyond production and reserves, the report contains data and outlooks covering commodity prices, industry capital expenditures, pipelines, carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS), and other energy infrastructure.
