Combining 54 years of experience, strong industry relationships, and complementary expertise to deliver more comprehensive solutions to clients across North America.

CALGARY, Alberta — October 5, 2026 — Control Tech, a leading electrical, instrumentation and automation solutions provider, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Alcro Electric Ltd., an established Electrical Contractor with extensive expertise in modular construction and industrial electrical services.

The acquisition brings together two companies with a combined 54 years of experience serving the energy and industrial sectors. Founded in 1997, Alcro Electric has built a strong reputation for quality workmanship, customer relationships, and the successful execution of complex industrial projects. Control Tech has been serving clients since 2001, with operations throughout North America.

“Alcro has built an exceptional business based on strong relationships, quality work and talented people,” said Greg Kjemhus, Chief Executive Officer of Control Tech. “There is a natural alignment between our organizations — from our commitment to safety and quality to the importance we place on our people, our customers and doing things the right way. Bringing our teams together strengthens what we can offer our clients while creating new opportunities for our employees and both organizations.”

Alcro brings extensive modular fabrication and industrial electrical experience to Control Tech. Its capabilities include E-houses, power distribution buildings, communication buildings, process buildings, control panels, and other modular packages, along with extensive experience in hazardous-area wiring.

The addition of Alcro, combined with Control Tech’s existing electrical, instrumentation and automation expertise, strengthens the organization’s ability to provide clients with more comprehensive project solutions — from modular fabrication through field installation, commissioning, and start-up.

For clients, the combination means access to a broader team, expanded technical expertise and an integrated range of capabilities across more stages of a project, backed by the resources and reach of Control Tech.

“Joining Control Tech represents an exciting next chapter for Alcro,” said Voytek Lukasiewicz, President of Alcro Electric. “Our companies share many of the same values and the same commitment to our customers and our people. This partnership allows us to build on what has made Alcro successful while giving our team access to additional resources, expertise and opportunities. Together, we can provide a more complete solution for our customers, from modular fabrication through field installation and start-up.”

Alcro will continue to be driven by the people, experience and customer relationships that have contributed to its success, now supported by the broader resources and reach of Control Tech.

The acquisition reflects Control Tech’s continued focus on responsible growth, expanding its capabilities and providing more comprehensive solutions to clients across North America.

More expertise. More capability. More solutions.
