RiggerTalk helps people locate oilfield services, equipment, and job opportunities

July 19, 20161:00 AM BOE Report Staff

Sask oil pumpjackThe RiggerTalk Oilfield Directory is a quick and easy way for anyone to locate oilfield services, oilfield equipment, oilpatch job opportunities and events from any desktop or mobile device – completely free of charge.

However, only RiggerTalk members are able to post services and ads to the site. Users benefit by reaching a targeted audience to extend their marketing, job placement, and promotion efforts.

Fairly new to the marketplace (launched February 2015), already the RiggerTalk Directory is garnering rave reviews from its growing userbase. “Thanks to RiggerTalk our business is getting noticed and found in all areas that we service new and old,” says Ben Otto, Owner of Black Bull Operational Services.

This unique online oilfield directory can be utilized from your computer or smartphone and users can locate services, equipment, jobs, events, sale items, with a click on the map or by using drop down menus throughout the website’s design.

Part of what has made RiggerTalk’s Directory so appealing to its users is that fact that its user interface is designed to be as quick and easy as possible. “Pin your company on the map, add the services you want noticed and anyone viewing the site knows you’re in the area, and the services you provide,” says President Chris Zavlanos. Adding, “this site is free for the public to use, so anyone looking for a specific service in the area will target your business, should you chose to get pinned with Riggertalk.com.”

Mr. Zavlanos also pointed out that for the travelling business person involved in oil and gas, RiggerTalk has been a big hit. “A few consultants who travel the province told me that it is convenient to locate local services when they aren’t familiar with the area they are working in,” he says. “Instead of calling around to find out who has the required services, they simply enter in their LSD  or city name and what they need (for example ‘trucking’), followed by the sub category ‘picker/crane’ and immediately, RiggerTalk’s Directory gives the services, who provided the trucks, address, direct phone number and the company website in the specific area entered.”

But despite it being namedRiggertalk.com, the service is not just for the oilfield. “Whatever your business, we can get you noticed. It’s a user friendly site where you as the business owner, enter your target hit words, pin your locations on the map and directly link your business website to your information page,” comments Mr. Zavlanos.

Going forward, Riggertalk.com is committed to provide your company the best service to get you located quickly. “With our innovation, your company will successfully be targeted by the services requested and the services you supply and so I tell people all the time, ‘Get pinned on the map with RiggerTalk!'” says Mr. Zavlanos with a laugh.
