August 18, 201612:46 PM Peter Ciavarella0 Comments

The August 17th Alberta land sale, has earned Alberta a total of  $10.2 million, which is down slightly from the $11.4 million result from the August 3 land sale.

There were a total of 75 parcels with acceptable lease bids and no Oil Sands Leases available for this sale. The total for all 15 sales so far this year is $97.3 million compared to $204.8 million for this time last year.

British Columbia and Saskatchewan also held land sales this month and the results were $0.89 million and $10.3 million respectively.  The total amounts for BC and Saskatchewan for 2016 to date are $5.6 million and $23.3 million

The chart below illustrates the trend of the Alberta land sale results for all of 2016 so far.
