NuVista Energy Ltd. Announces Closing of Equity Financing

CALGARY, ALBERTA–(Marketwired – Dec. 3, 2013) – NuVista Energy Ltd. (“NuVista”) (TSX:NVA) is pleased to announce that it has closed its previously announced public offering of 11,000,000 common shares through a syndicate of underwriters co-led by Peters & Co. Limited and RBC Capital Markets and including CIBC World Markets Inc., FirstEnergy Capital Corp., Scotia Capital Inc., BMO Capital Markets, TD Securities Inc., and National Bank Financial Inc. at a price of $7.10 per common share for gross proceeds of $78.1 million.
