Acquisition of Fluid Management & Logistic Company
Sherwood Park, Alberta – October 31, 2016 – Vertex Resource Group Ltd. (Vertex) is pleased to announce that is has acquired Red Giant Energy Services Ltd. (Red Giant), an oilfield service company specializing in the storage, management and logistics of oilfield fluids in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. Red Giant provides total fluid management solutions to those in the industrial and commercial sectors through their fluid storage tanks and secondary containment delivery and setup services, and their well-maintained fleet of tank hauling trucks, equipment and pilot vehicles.
This acquisition expands Vertex’s already established fluid management platform and greatly strengthens the presence of both entities in the Montney and Duvernay shale formations in Alberta and British Columbia.

Prior to founding Red Giant, Mr. Clemett spent twenty years in the oil and gas service sector holding several senior management and executive positions.
