geoLOGIC & CAPLA announce partnership, McCuaig-Boyd to present at Lunch n Learn

September 22, 20152:00 AM BOE Report Staff

geoLOGIC systems and the Canadian Association of Petroleum Land Administration (CAPLA) are proud to announce a brand new partnership where geoLOGIC will be the leading sponsor of CAPLA’s 2015-16 Lunch ‘n Learn series. geoLOGIC’s partnership will directly impact CAPLA’s ability to enhance skill development and technical expertise among land professionals, provide educational resources and tools, disseminate the latest industry information, and provide valuable opportunities for mentoring and networking.

The Lunch ‘n Learn series boasts an impressive palate of talks geared towards furthering the working knowledge of the oil and gas community. On September 24th the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) and Aboriginal Consultation Office (ACO) will be hosting a joint discussion on how the AER has been working to implement the ministerial order on aboriginal consultation through the Joint Operating Procedures for First Nations Consultation on Energy Resource Activities.

During the month of November CAPLA will welcome Alberta’s Energy Minister, the Honourable Margaret McCuaig-Boyd, to present to the Lunch n Learn community. This is a discussion not to be missed and pre-registration is required. You can find more information on this discussion and other talks at www.caplacanada.org.

“We are thrilled to embark on this new relationship, because it helps us provide our members with relevant educational and professional development opportunities,” said CAPLA’s CEO Cathy Miller.

“This partnership recognizes the natural synergy between CAPLA and geoLOGIC – we are both committed to helping those working in land asset management stay ahead of rapid technological changes in the energy industry.”

geoLOGIC highly values its deeper engagement with CAPLA and its 2,700 members. geoLOGIC continues to form partnerships with organizations that share the value and vision to support thought leaders throughout the oil and gas community.
