Fossil fuels and alternative energy: An overview of our energy future

November 2, 20162:07 PM BOE Report Staff0 Comments

This past summer, two summer students at Whitecap Resources Inc. were asked to prepared the following presentation outlining the differences and feasibility of both fossil fuel and alternative energy sources.

Both students admitted that prior to their extensive research, they knew virtually nothing about either form of energy. And through the course of their work, they attempted to remain as unbiased as possible; despite being on the payroll of an oil and gas company dealing with innumerable attempts to be nudged in both directions of the argument from the outside world.

The BOE ReportĀ invites our readership to pass this presentation along as there are plenty of keen insights and observations made throughout the presentation. Doing so will undoubtedly better prepare the next generation to enter the ongoing debate about the sources and uses of energy and their impact on our world.
