Natural gas storage beats estimates, futures prices soar

Working gas in storage was 1,704 Bcf as of Friday, April 12, 2013, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net change of +31 Bcf beating analyst estimates of ~+42 Bcf. Stocks were 794 Bcf less than last year at this time and 74 Bcf below the 5-year average of 1,778 Bcf.
