Tuscany Energy Ltd. Appoints Executive Vice President and CFO

CALGARY, ALBERTA–(Marketwired – July 17, 2013) – Tuscany Energy Ltd. (“Tuscany“) (TSX VENTURE:TUS) announces the appointment of Charles A. (Tony) Teare to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Teare is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Tuscany and held the same office with Tuscany in 2010. Mr. Teare is a Chartered accountant with over 30 years of experience in various executive positions with public oil and gas companies.

As a result of the business combination of Tuscany and Diaz and in order to reduce the Company’s overhead costs Brad Perry, Tuscany’s former CFO has left the Company. The Board thanks him for his service with Tuscany and wishes him all the best in his future plans.
