CALGARY, ALBERTA–(Marketwired – Feb. 11, 2014) – Terra Energy Corp. (“Terra” or the “Company”) (TSX:TT) is pleased to announce the appointment and return of Mr. Tony Sabelli to its Board of Directors. Mr. Sabelli has over 35 years of oil and gas operations experience and has most recently served as Senior Vice President Operations at Sunshine Oilsands Ltd. Mr. Sabelli has previously served as an Executive VP at Terra, the Vice President of Drilling and Completions at Iteration Energy Ltd and he has held various other positions including General Manager of Drilling and Completions at Canadian Natural Resources Limited. Mr. Sabelli was one of the founders and principals with two private oil and gas producers, namely Rising Sky Energy and Red Sky Energy. Mr. Sabelli also served as an Independent Director of Terra from May of 2007 until October 2009 and as such, brings with him an understanding of the asset base of the Company.
Concurrently, Mr. James F. (Jim) Wong has stepped down from the Board of Directors of Terra for “family-related” reasons. Mr. Wong has served as a Director of Terra since January of 2010. The Board of Directors, management and staff of Terra wish to extend their sincerest gratitude to Jim for his dedicated service to the Company.
