VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA–(Marketwired – May 21, 2014) – Altima Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:ARH) (“Altima” or the “Company”) announces further to its News Release dated May 5, 2014 that, subject to receipt of acceptance from the TSX Venture Exchange, it anticipates closing its private placement for gross proceeds of $12,500,000 by the issuance of 138,888,886 Units at $0.09 per Unit (the “Financing”) by May 30, 2014, not May 21, 2014 as previously announced.
Following completion of the Financing, the Company will arrange for a Special Meeting of Shareholders to seek shareholder approval to the proposed 8:1 consolidation. Refer to May 5, 2014 News Release for further particulars of the Financing and proposed consolidation.
