Seven Generations Announces Executive Changes

CALGARY, Sept. 15, 2014 /CNW/ – Seven Generations Energy Ltd. (“7G” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that Mr. Randy Evanchuk, Executive Vice President, has agreed to lead the Company’s health, safety and environment activities and Mr. Randy Hnatuik has joined 7G as Vice President Business Development.

Mr. Evanchuk is now responsible for the Company’s pursuit of excellence in health, safety and environmental performance.  Previously, he was responsible for leading production, facility construction and marketing.

“In his previous role, Mr. Evanchuk demonstrated a passion for positioning the Company to be a leader in health and safety performance,” said Pat Carlson, CEO. “With the recent and projected rapid growth of the Company, senior executive attention to these critical aspects of our operations is an imperative of our corporate culture.   Mr. Evanchuk is ideally suited to assume this senior leadership role.”

Mr. Hnatuik brings nearly 30 years of industry experience to his new role at 7G.  Most recently, Mr. Hnatuik worked for 11 years in various leadership roles for a pioneering unconventional resource developer, including leadership roles in a business unit focused on Montney development.  Mr. Hnatuik has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.

Mr. Steve Haysom, Senior Vice President, commented, “Two of our key corporate priorities are to identify ways to expand our gas and natural gas liquids markets to match the productive capacity of our resources, and utilize our tight and shale resource plays abilities to expand our resource base to include other high quality opportunities in our operating region. We are confident that Randy will be integral to our success in these initiatives.”

Seven Generations Energy Ltd. is a private, Canadian company engaged in the development of the Kakwa River Project (the “Project”).  Located approximately 100 kilometers south of Grande Prairie, Alberta, the Project is a tight, liquids rich gas and light oil project in the early stages of development.
