Amid the swirling rumours that U.S. President Barack Obama is about to reject the Keystone XL pipeline project, Safety in Transportation of Oil and Gas utilizes newly compiled Canadian data to determine the rate of oil spill incidents and accidents – for both pipeline and rail cars – over the past decade.
