NAPE Continues Tradition of Making Deals Happen in Down Oil Market with NAPE Denver 2015

October 16, 20157:00 AM Business Wire

FORT WORTH, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–NAPE, the largest oil and gas upstream prospect expo in the U.S., will continue its 22-year history of bringing prospects and investors together in both up and down markets to make deals happen at NAPE Denver 2015. Taking place Dec. 9-10, 2015, at the Colorado Convention Center, NAPE Denver will connect attendees with firsthand knowledge of oil and gas opportunities and prospects primarily throughout the Rocky Mountain region.

“NAPE is a ‘can’t miss’ event in a down oil and gas market because it’s a real business builder for attendees,” said Jeanine Haller Piskurich, Chair of the NAPE Operators Committee. “The American Association of Professional Landmen founded NAPE two decades ago to boost U.S. exploration and production in a down market by directly connecting prospects and investors. The concept was a success then, and it has continued to remain successful at NAPE expos in 2015.”

The deal making at 2015 NAPE expos, including NAPE Summit in February and Summer NAPE in August, has not been affected to date despite continual declines in the price of oil. NAPE Denver 2015 is projected to draw nearly 2,500 attendees and 150 exhibitors as well as contribute roughly $5 million to the Denver economy this December.

“We’re excited to be bringing the positive momentum of NAPE back to Denver and the Niobrara, where there is still so much potential for exploration,” added Piskurich.

NAPE is the oil and gas industry’s marketplace for the buying, selling and trading of prospects and producing properties. With three expos throughout the year, NAPE creates an environment where attendees can have an expectation of doing business — bringing together all the necessary parties to evaluate, fund and make deals.

NAPE Denver 2015 will feature the expo’s new faster-paced, streamlined format. For the first time in Denver, the NAPE Exhibit Floor will open the same day as the Business Conference, Wednesday, Dec. 9; the expo will run through Thursday, Dec. 10. Also new this year is Prospect Previews, feature presentations made by exhibitors in the NAPE Theater on the show floor. For more information on NAPE Denver 2015, please visit www.napeexpo.com.
