Enterprise Content Management and Smart AP Automation to manage invoices and associated approvals.
Sun Oil is implementing docSTAR eclipse ECM and Smart AP Automation to gain more visibility from its Accounts Payable process by automating the processing, proofing, storing and archiving of all or most of the hard paper and electronic invoices that flow through the A/P department. Taking advantage of docSTAR’s Intelligent Data Capture (IDC) technology, key invoice data will be recognized and invoices will be automatically routed for approval. All data captured will be automatically uploaded into their proprietary AP line of business application to eliminate redundant data entry, saving hours of manual data entry every month. After approval the invoice will be routed back to the AP processor for payment.
