President Obama is in Ottawa following a 3 Amigos summit where he, Prime Minister Trudeau and Mecixan President Enrique Peña Nieto signed a pact to have 50% of electricity power generated by renewables by 2025.
Prime Minister Trudeau has called his relationship with President Obama a ‘bromance’ and spoke about the two have been engaging in ‘dudeplomacy’.
During the event, there was no progress on getting Canadian oil to the US market by pipeline, however White House officials said the US and Canada has moved ‘past Keystone XL’ in its energy discussions.
