OSY Rentals, like everyone else in the oil and gas business, have considerably lowered their rates. Now they have gone one step further in offering 100% of the rent to go towards the purchase price for up to six months.
“We have a lot more inventory in our yard than we would like” says Greg Cairns of OSY “so we are saying to ourselves, what else can we do to help the producers and make our company and product more attractive.”
The rent to own from an accounting perspective allows the monthly rent to be capitalized, while on the other hand if things go sideways you can return the equipment and start over. OSY also does not charge calibration or instrumentation fees upon the return of the equipment, allowing users to firmly budget the project.
“All we ask is that the equipment is clean when it is returned and I think our customers really appreciate that about us” says OSY’s General Manager Dallas Cairns.
