$100MM in Bonuses Paid for East Shale Basin Acreage!

July 11, 20174:06 AM BOE Report Staff

Bonuses paid for Crown acreage in the East Shale Basin have exceeded $102MM since April 1, 2017! The East Shale Basin light oil play is garnering a lot of attention with recent drilling activity producing ever-improving results, which is driving up land prices north of $5000/ha. With several land sales in the near future, companies will want to reduce their learning curves to capitalize on this opportunity. Canadian Discovery used its extensive knowledge and expertise on the Duvernay to create a relevant information package that provides important insights on the East Shale Basin play. Major and small players alike have already purchased this information package to quickly get up to speed on what is happening in this hot play. The Duvernay East Shale Basin Information Package is now available to purchase.

Why the East Shale Basin?

Thinner, thermally less mature and with higher carbonate content, the East Shale Basin Duvernay is a different animal than its western neighbour. To help our clients evaluate the play, Canadian Discovery is providing an independent Phase I analysis of geology, hydrodynamics, temperature, fluids, completions technology, productivity and economics.
