The site’s two most read articles for the year both received over 22,000 individual reads. These articles, like this one and in particular this one, discussing the mass exodus of multinational explorations companies from Alberta, were shared heavily through social media, and were discussed on various popular radio programs in Western Canada. The website’s core userbase grew towards the end of 2017 reaching over 350,000 in Calgary alone .
