After a 4 year drought of project funding, it has been confirmed that direction has been finally reversed in Canada.
“Our funders are waiting to fund companies who are ready to grow their production base” says Shanaz Joan Parsan, the Head of Energy & Innovation at Szymon Zephan Capital in Toronto. “We have seen keen interest in energy and energy services and for those seeking control interest in deals larger than $75 million. There is interest for non control investments as well. Debt funding for $25 million plus remains steady while those over $ 10 million are getting traction.”
“If energy, infrastructure and service companies are ready for funding, we’re very interested in speaking with them today.”
