On the eve of the Alberta provincial election, a huge march took place downtown Calgary. Organized by energy industry advocate group Canada Action, the demonstration paints a picture of discontent felt among Albertans.
The Senate hearings for Bill C-69 were in Calgary on Tuesday. Canada Action led the rally which they say “will hurt Canadian families that make their living in our natural resource sector.”
The bill has received opposition from industry, first nations, provincial leaders, and ordinary Canadians all across Canada.
