Canada weekly rig count up 3 to 140

Western Canada’s fleet of drilling rigs went up by 3 to 140 according to data collected by Baker Hughes for the week of August 9th.

Alberta grew its fleet by 8 to 94, while Saskatchewan decreased by 3 to 33.

Oil drilling went from 91 to 94, natural gas rigs remained the same at 46.
