Montney Farmout Package Offering – Boundary Area, B.C.

February 26, 20256:30 AM BOE Report Staff

Montney Farmout Package Offering

Boundary Area, B.C.

Canlin Resources Partnership by its managing partner, Canlin Energy Corporation (“Canlin”) is making 11,520 acres (5,760 net) of prospective, non-unitized, Montney land available for farmout on a competitive bid basis.

Additional information with respect to the opportunity is described below:

Process:

  1. The Montney lands available for farmout are identified on the attached Montney Farmout Opportunity plat; Mineral Property Report will be made available upon execution of Canlin’s standard Confidentiality Agreement. Please contact Greg Sawchenko via email for CA.
  2. Canlin is marketing this opportunity on a non-exclusive basis, subject to change or withdrawal, at the sole discretion of Canlin without prior notification.

Framework:

  1. Farmout Lands shall be limited to PNG in the Montney Formation;
  2. Farmee shall commit to drill, complete, equip/tie-in Test Wells at its sole cost to earn a portion of the Farmor’s working interest in the Test Well spacing unit (TWSU);
  3. Resource development through multi well horizontal pad drilling beginning in Q3, 2025 subject to surface access, licencing, consultation and regulatory approvals;
  4. Article X of the Operating Procedure shall be amended to provided Farmor with an additional election to farmout its working interest in subsequent wellbores on the joint lands for a pre-negotiated non-convertible GOR. Farmor shall retain its working interest in the joint lands, and shall have the opportunity to elect on a well by well basis to participate in future drills or convert to the pre-negotiated GOR;
  5. Where Farmor has capacity at existing facilities and infrastructure, Farmee shall dedicate its production from the Farmout Lands to Farmor’s infrastructure and/or facilities.

Preference will be provided to those proposals that compete on the following metrics:

  • Highest retained post earned working interest for Canlin thru equip/tie-in;
  • Largest Test Well commitment;
  • Largest GOR conversion percentage should Canlin elect not to participate in subsequent wells located on the earned Farmout Lands;
  • Offers that evaluate the entire Farmout Lands in the shortest period of time.

Should you require additional information, please contact Greg Sawchenko, Land Manager, at (403) 351-9797, or at greg.sawchenko@canlinenergy.com .
