Break Clays and Shatter Barriers: Children’s Cottage Society Launches New Clays Event to Support Mental Health

May 12, 20257:07 AM BOE Report Staff

Children’s Cottage Society is excited to announce the launch of Clays for a Cause, a brand-new clay-shooting fundraiser happening Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the scenic Silver Willow Sporting Club in Carstairs, Alberta.

Building on the sold-out success of Clays for the Cottage, this new event invites participants to “Break Clays and Shatter Barriers” in support of the Society’s new Family Mental Wellness Hub, opening on Wednesday, May 14. All proceeds will help children and families access vital, barrier-free mental health services, fostering resilience in the Calgary community.

Whether you’re a seasoned shooter or trying clay shooting for the first time, the day promises to be fun for everyone. In addition to clay shooting, there will be delicious food and drinks, a silent auction, raffles, door prizes, and outdoor activities, making this event a perfect team-building opportunity.

Clays for a Cause runs from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, making it ideal for corporate teams, client hosting, or solo participants looking for a unique experience

Join 24 teams and the Children’s Cottage Society for this inaugural event, and help pull together for children and families in crisis.

Registration is now open on the Children’s Cottage Society website. Don’t miss your chance to make a difference by breaking clays and shattering barriers to crucial mental health support!
