The Alberta Government brought in $6.9 MM on its May 14th Crown land sale.
In total, 15,368.81 hectares were sold at an average price of $451.60/ha.

The largest bonus came from a 1,024 hectares (4 sections) parcel of land south of Grande Prairie and west of Fox Creek, at the western edge of the Kakwa field. This parcel went for a $3,663,647 bonus, and represented 53% of the total bonus from the May 14th landsale. A land broker was the buyer.
