A small private E&P company has made a big splash by disclosing new land positions in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Lineup Resources had a number of mineral rights transfers spotted by our public data mineral rights transfer tool at StackDX Intel.

Since the beginning of 2025, Lineup Resources has transferred in more than 185 net sections of mineral rights, the vast majority if not all from land brokers. Most of these have just recently been transferred over the last several weeks, although would stem from previous land sales where a land broker was used.
It’s a formidable new position for the company, which we show in Figure 1 below. The previously held mineral rights up until the beginning of the year are shown in orange, and the newly transferred in rights from the beginning of the year onward are shown in purple. This is not a comprehensive view of the company’s new mineral rights, as some were transferred in in Saskatchewan and other parts of Alberta as well. Note that this is all public Crown mineral rights data, so would not include any other broker held positions or freehold land positions.
