CNRL ordered to restrict steam injection at oilsands site after leak

CALGARY - The Alberta Energy Regulator has ordered Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. to restrict steam injection, enhance monitoring and accelerate cleanup at its Primrose and Wolf Lake oilsands projects. Man dies after being struck by piece of pipe at Alberta gas plant

  HINTON, Alta. - A man has been killed in an accident at the site of a gas plant in west-central Alberta.The death happened Tuesday, about 80 kilometres northeast of Hinton.RCMP say the 32-year-old Hinton resident had been working as part of a pipeline crew when he was struck by a large piece of pipe.The victim died at the scene.His name has not been released.An autopsy is scheduled and police do not consider the death suspicious.
