Man dies after being struck by piece of pipe at Alberta gas plant
HINTON, Alta. - A man has been killed in an accident at the site of a gas plant in west-central Alberta.The death happened Tuesday, about 80 kilometres northeast of Hinton.RCMP say the 32-year-old Hinton resident had been working as part of a pipeline crew when he was struck by a large piece of pipe.The victim died at the scene.His name has not been released.An autopsy is scheduled and police do not consider the death suspicious.
