CALGARY, ALBERTA–(Marketwired – Oct. 6, 2014) – Contact Exploration Inc. (“Contact” or the “Company“) (TSX VENTURE:CEX) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Chad Kalmakoff as Vice President, Finance & Chief Financial Officer effective today.
Mr. Kalmakoff brings extensive financial experience, most recently as Vice President, Finance and CFO with Corinthian Exploration Corp., a successful private oil and gas company acquired by Legacy Oil + Gas Inc. earlier in 2014. Prior thereto, Mr. Kalmakoff was Vice President, Finance and CFO at Pace Oil & Gas Ltd., a publicly traded oil and gas company that merged with AvenEx Energy Corp. and Charger Energy Corp. to form Spyglass Resources Corp. in early 2013. Prior to his role at Pace Oil & Gas Ltd., Mr. Kalmakoff held the Vice President, Finance and Financial Controller positions at Midnight Oil Exploration Ltd. and its predecessor companies after receiving his Chartered Accountant designation while at KPMG LLP.
