CALGARY, Alberta, July 23, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Vital Energy Inc. (“Vital” the “Corporation”) is pleased to announce that Mr. Yingchuan Wu has been appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer of Vital. In addition, Mr. Wu has also been appointed as a director of the Corporation. Mr. Nick Zhang, the former Chief Executive Officer of Vital has been appointed as Vice President Exploration and Mr. Jeffrey Standen, the former President of the Corporation continues to serve as the Corporate Secretary and Vice President of Business Development. In addition, Mr. Rui Lang, is no longer a director of Vital.
The officers of the Corporation are now: Yingchuan Wu – President and Chief Executive Officer; Robert Gilles – Chief Financial Officer; Nick Zhang – Vice President Exploration; Jeffrey Standen – Corporate Secretary and Vice President of Business Development. The Board of Directors of the Corporation will now consist of Hai Zhou (Chairman), Nick Zhang, Jeffrey Standen, Fang Chen, Ngai Ho and Yingchuan Wu.
Mr. Wu holds a PHD in Reservoir Engineering and has in excess of 28 years of industry experience, both domestically and internationally.
