Mazeppa Gas Plant Decommission and Equipment Salvage

Millenia Engineering has been engaged to assist Grant Thornton Limited, solely in its capacity as the Receiver of Lexin Resources Ltd., 0989 Resource Partnership, 1051393 BC Ltd., LR Processing Ltd. and LR Processing Partnership with the sale of equipment and materials from the Mazeppa Gas Plant located at SE¼-35-019-28 W4M. The Receiver is soliciting interest to commence due diligence and submit a proposal or proposals for the purchase of equipment and materials in accordance with the terms and conditions of a Decommission and Equipment Salvage Request for Proposal package (the “RFP“).

The Mazeppa Gas Plant began operation in 1986.  The original plant was built to produce sales gas and condensate from 1202 E3m3/day (42 MMSCFD) of sour gas feed.  The plant consisted of, inlet separation and compression, gas treating (sulfinol), dehydration and dew point control, condensate stabilization, two sulphur recovery trains, liquid sulphur storage and loading, HC storage and loading, steam generation and utilities.  In 1998 a plant debottleneck increased the capacity to 2255 E3m3/day (80 MMSCFD).  In 2004 a 1267 E3m3/day (45 MMSCFD) sweet gas plant addition was completed.  This new facility included inlet separation, refrigeration, inlet compression, recycle compression, LPG storage and loading, new flare header and flare knockout.
