Calgary, AB, September 26, 2019 – GLJ Petroleum Consultants (GLJ) announced today that Jodi Anhorn, current GLJ executive vice president and COO, has been appointed as GLJ’s new president and CEO.
In addition, GLJ vice president Chad Lemke has been appointed to executive vice president and COO, joining Caralyn Bennett, executive vice president and chief strategy officer, as part of the senior leadership team. The leadership changes are effective Oct. 1, and follow the retirements of Keith Braaten, president and CEO, and Mark Jobin, vice president, on Sept. 30.
“I’m honoured to have been selected as GLJ’s next president and CEO. The leadership team is excited to expand GLJ’s industry role as a purpose-driven organization that provides immense value to our clients,” said Anhorn. “We will continue to provide the trusted expertise that our clients count on, while at the same time underpinning our clients’ businesses in the growing areas of geothermal, technology, data science, and asset retirement obligation (ARO) due diligence and audits.”
Also effective Oct. 1, GLJ will welcome three individuals to the leadership team, including Graham Simpson as vice president, geoscience, Patrick Olenick as vice president, and Michael Morgan as vice president.
“These additions to our leadership team will enable us to focus on what we’ve identified as the four pillars that will lead GLJ into the future of the energy industry: core business, emerging products and services, technology and digital, and people and culture,” said Anhorn.
“On behalf of everyone here at GLJ, we’d like to thank Keith and Mark for the incredible contributions they’ve made to GLJ over the years. We wish them both the absolute best in retirement.”
