ALBERTA – March 5, 2024 – Young Women in Energy (YWE) is proud to announce the recipients of the 2024 YWE Awards! These ten inspirational women are paving the way for the next generation of leaders and are shaping the future of Alberta’s energy industry. Since 2014, YWE’s Awards Program has highlighted over 100 women’s invaluable contributions and remarkable accomplishments.
Award winners are selected based on their commitment to challenging the status quo through innovative initiatives, leadership (with or without the title), exceptional performance, and their impact on both the local community and the broader industry.

A robust review process was conducted—including a peer review and final executive evaluation by the 2024 YWE Awards Executive Selection Committee. Each award winner is paired with an industry executive through the YWE Mentorship Program and welcomed into the YWE Awards Alumni network, among other benefits.
